Welcome

Welcome to the website of Perry Beeches II The Free School situated in the heart of Birmingham Historic Jewellery Quarter, our school provides an outstanding education for students between the ages of 11 and 18.

As the second school in the Perry Beeches Academy Trust Family it was vital that we followed in the footsteps of the exceptional achievement at Perry Beeches The Academy. In April 2014 Perry Beeches II the Free School continued the success and was deemed ‘Outstanding in all areas’ by Ofsted.  An Amazing result!

‘Perry Beeches II seeks to be what is true, what is fair and what is just’ – Ofsted 2014

Perry Beeches II is a mainstream, non-selective comprehensive school and we pride ourselves on providing an outstanding education for students from all backgrounds. The school is centred on traditional values and ethos based on our own Respect Agenda.

We aim to follow a broad and balanced curriculum which inspires and motivates our students to achieve. We now have an established Sixth Form where all of our 2014 & 2015 cohort gained a place at university with an overall gained a 97% pass rate, an outstanding achievement.

Becoming a member of Perry Beeches II means students are able to grow into young academic, articulate, respectful and confident individuals. They are able to join a competitive and expanding employment environment with all that is necessary to succeed. Students are involved in all aspects of school life especially leadership roles. It is important that students develop confidence and are willing to undertake any challenge. Importantly, every member of the team matters here.  It is due to this team ethos that excellence is achieved and every student and staff member celebrates being part of ‘Team PB’

Relationships are the key to our success. Relationships between staff, students, parents and the local community have all been a vital aspect of creating an Outstanding Free School. It is these relationships that have enabled Perry Beeches to become a safe and secure environment for students to learn.

Strong community relationships help students experience life outside the classroom. It is these relationships that provide opportunity for students to be involved in residential activities and field trips. Working with local business allows students to gain an insight into the working world and the expectations that this brings. PBII has become a real part of the Jewellery Quarter community and thrive as a result.

I am privileged to be the Headteacher of PBII and hope that this website will provide you with the information you need. However, if you need more information or would like to visit PBII then please feel free to contact me at school.

Yours Sincerely,

Kevin Rogers
